I doubt that this movie will focus more on the Mayan Calendar (T'zolkin) that does not predict the end of the world, but moreso ends a long-count around the year 2012. Some have stated that it is ends as early as 2011 and as late as 2013. It would appear from the previews that destruction is the message of this film. Check out the previews below:

Okay,

So, I was surfing on YouTube and I have found a bit of inspiration to hit the gym again. I am truly going to watch my diet closely and do my best to commit to the gym for 365 days. Well, Yoda's voice just popped into my head and I can hear that line from Revenge of the Sith when he stated that "...there is no 'try.' It is either do or do not." Well, I will put a plan together and I will start back working out on tomorrow. Check out this video below:

¿Qué tal?

So, I had an oral exam for my Spanish class on yesterday and I was more nervous than a black man on Maury about to hear the paternity test results. My partner (Brittney) and I got an "A" on our conversation and we actually made our Professora laugh; thanks to my last minute genius idea(s). Actually, now that I think about it, I got Brittney to laugh as well, so this was a double-whammie for me. She hadn't really smiled since we collaborated for the project and to see a smile was a refreshing sight. In case one does not know, I love to see others smile (i.e. Wife, Mom(s), my dog, etc.) and the sight of pearly whites just has a way of breaking stress as well as the tension in the air.

The only tactic that I will reveal is that I sung the below song (Me gustas tu), also accompanied with a partial-dance-like-sway, to mi Professora and to mi compañera. This song was introduced to the clase earlier during our Summer semester class. After you give a listen to the lovely melodies below, I do not know about you, but I will now purchase the album by Manu Chau and I hope that you enjoy his music as much as I have. Oh, another artist that has wonderful music would be Pancho Sanchez (I've had his album for years); especially the song Besame' Mama. If you lack the non-common virtue of patience, then fast-forward the Pancho Sanchez video to 2:30. Enjoy...

Chill-axing... within a mental Summer Breeze

It is the tropical scenes, like the one below, that make me want to get my wife and dog -- pack up the car -- and jet-off to the nearest tropical locale. I am a jazzaholic as well as a recovering relaxaholic and I feel that I am on the cusp of a relapse! I love the instrumental sounds that are not drowned out by an aggressive base-line. Music should enter the ear as smooth as a summer breeze... and life should be enjoyed as though every day was a vacation. Enjoy

If only I could command the words to work for me in Spanish like I do in English. Oh well. I've past my last two exams with and "A" and "B," so I figure that there is room to flub atleast one exam verdad? Deseame Suerte... because I'm going to need it.
